AAH is committed to protecting your privacy. This AAH Privacy Statement applies to the AAH Web site and governs data collection and usage for all AAH sites and services.

AAH is a general audience web site, intended for users of all ages. Personal information of all users is collected, used and disclosed as described in this Privacy Statement.

The Academy and all staff will respect the rights to privacy of students work and records. The Academy will ensure the integrity, confidentiality and security of records and other relevant materials.

Collection of your Personal Information
At some sites, AAH collects personal information, such as your e-mail address, name, home or work address or telephone number. AAH may also collect demographic information, such as your post code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favourites.

AAH also collects certain information about your computer hardware and software. This information may include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring Web site addresses. This information is used by AAH for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of AAH website.

AAH keeps track of the pages our customers visit within AAH, in order to determine what AAH sites and services are the most popular.

Use of your Personal Information
AAH collects and uses your personal information to operate the AAH and deliver the services you have requested. AAH does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations, without your explicit consent.

AAH also uses your personal information to inform you of other products or services available its affiliates.

The AAH is committed to protecting the privacy of its students insofar as possible. The AAH does not share, sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties. AAH may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your personal information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is not transferred to the third party.

We occasionally hire other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, such as handling the processing and delivery of mailings, providing technical support, processing transactions, or performing statistical analysis of our services. We will only provide those companies the personal information they need to deliver the service. They are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information and are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

AAH may access and/or disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on the AAH or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of the AAH; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of AAH services or members of the public.

Security of your Personal Information
AAH is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We strive to maintain strict security of our student records system. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. For example, we store the personal information you provide on computer systems with limited access, that are located in controlled facilities.

Access to Student’s Personal Records
All students have access to their personal records after verification of their identity. Students may may receive a transcript of the records of courses taken, grades received, and completion attained. Requests for access to student records and for transcripts will be processed and the information provided within seven working days of the request. Requests should be made to Administration. Student records are securely maintained and archived for a period of thirty years.

Access to Student’s Personal Records by a Third Party
No information will be disclosed about any student to a third party without written consent of the course participant with the exception as stated under the paragraph “Use of Personal Information”. In instances where the content of student records is to be disclosed to a third party, your are required to provide signed written request for the Academy to provide the information. The letter must be explicit in the information you require the Academy to provide, the full name and address of the third party and must contain signed written permission for the Academy to provide the information.

Enforcement of this Privacy Statement
If you have questions regarding this statement, you should first contact the AAH via e-mail. If you do not receive acknowledgement of your inquiry or your inquiry has not been satisfactorily addressed, you should then contact the AAH directly to resolve your concerns.

Changes to this Statement
AAH will occasionally update this Privacy Statement to reflect business and customer feedback. When the AAH posts changes to this Statement, you will see the word “updated” next to the Privacy Statement link on the front page of AAH. If there are material changes to this Statement or in how AAH will use your personal information, AAH will prominently post such changes prior to implementing the change. AAH encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how we is protect your information.
